Below is a list of different hop varieties I have used when brewing and a brief summary of my thoughts on each one.
I will update this page as and when I use a previously unused hop.
|Columbus||A strong aroma of earth and citrus. Contains an almost liquorice quality.|
|Golding||Traditional hop with a smooth aroma – an almost sweet nose with hints of spice.|
|Fuggles||A subtle hops with a slight mint-like/grassy floral aroma|
|Phoenix||Often high in AA for a hop kick, mildly aromatic with a slight spice to it.|
